The "Golf Thang" is a Texas based organization dedicated to the advancement of such activities as serious to semi-serious golf, very serious BS sessions, serious research into beef & beer consumption and an occasional foray into a "game of chance". Membership is limited to those who at one time or another messed with trucks as a career and most importantly ... can be tolerated by all "Golf Thang" brothers. In the past, meetings were held twice a year at Mill Creek Golf & Country Club in Salado Texas. In the Fall 2004 a change of venue lead us to "The Links at Land's End" in East Texas and in the Spring 2005 we were hosted by our Houston Brothers at Waterwood National outside of Huntsville. For the Fall 2005 outing we headed back to East Texas to Pine Dunes near Frankston and think we have found a new home - nice track with slick greens and just the kind of laid back atmosphere & accommodations we need. 

 Let's put it this way ... if you have been invited to attend a "THANG" ... you are a very cool guy !
