The following was taken from a book I found in my Mother's attic. The book was inside my Great Grandfathers
Army footlocker. It seems my Great Grandfather was interested in the paranormal.

Minister of a church in the area of Aquashicola, PA, Minister Beckman Goosel first heard of the Bell
Witch and traveled to Adams, Tennessee to seek answers to questions he had of the occurences. This started
his journey across the U.S. and Canada where he researched and documented cases of the unknown. Some
things he actually witnessed while others were just information from eyewitnesses.

The book he wrote came to be called Goosel's Spirit Studies. Since this was a time when such things
were highly frowned upon it is no suprise his book can't be found listed anywhere. He himself remarked
he "Should be banned from the church and thrown in prison" if ever people were to find out what he was
up to.
