 | Wood Working - About six years ago I started woodworking
as a hobby. I bought a few tools and books and got started. I now have
nearly a complete shop I make all kinds of items from bird houses to
custom furniture. Woodworking has been the most fulfilling thing I
have ever done other than raising our three children. I
hope to make a living from woodworking. - Below is some

 | Fly Fishing - Nearly twenty years ago I had a manager who
taught me and got me started Fly Fishing. Tom Reeves was patient with
me and help me along. It was Tom who introduced me to catch and
release, a new concept for me, why catch them critters then let them
go, fish are for eating. With little success in fishing we moved to
Oregon in 1991. I started hanging out at The Creekside Fly shop in
Salem picked up pointers and assistance. I am now moderately
successful catching trout in the clean cool waters of Oregon streams
and high mountain lakes. By the way I now only catch and release - Below is

 | Fly Tying - While hanging out at The Creekside Fly shop I
met Forest Maxwell and David Barlow. After taking fly tying lessons from these
two Oregon ledgons I became an accomplished fly tyer. I have tied some
fly's professionally. My spun deer hair mice fools the best of Alaskan
trout and Texas Bass. Fooling and
catching a fish using something I have made is quite a thrill. - Below is one
