The Tea and Biscuits FAQ

What the heck is "Tea and Biscuits?"

"Tea and Biscuits" (also referred to as T&B) started out as a slash roleplaying game (RPG) in email format and then took a sharp turn and evolved into a combination RPG and story collection. Put very simply, it's a bunch of emails sent between Wesley, Giles and Spike during the summer after BtVS S5 and Ats S2 (after Buffy was killed saving the world.) It was written by Byrne and WesleysGirl in a flurry of love and with a determined sort of dedication.

Where did this idea come from?

Our diseased minds. No, seriously, the idea sprung off of The Brat Queen and Mer's epic "Role Playing Game From Hell." If you want to check out the wonder that is the RPGFH, you can go here.

You can read the email that went back and forth between WesleysGirl and Byrne while they were discussing the idea of T&B if you go to Tea and Biscuits: Conception.

Who writes which characters?

WesleysGirl writes Wesley, obviously, and Byrne writes Giles and Spike. In the emails, at least. Once we started writing stories, the line got very blurred and pretty soon we were both writing all three characters. If you really need to know the details: WesleysGirl wrote "Tea for Two: Spiked" and "In Too Deep." Byrne wrote "Tea for Two: English Breakfast" and "One Afternoon in a Crypt." We both wrote "Tea for Three" together.

Who made that beautiful collage at the top of the T&B main page?

That collage was made by the extremely talented Neige. You can see more of her gorgeous artwork at her website, Le Refuge.
