Green Palm Inn

On our previous trips to Savannah we stayed at the historic 17 Hundred Ninety House, which has fallen into a bit of disrepair.  We switched to the Sea Cabins Inn (which has changed ownership since and is now River Street Villas). For 2007 we switched to the Green Palm Inn, near Green Square, on the far eastern edge of historic Savannah. We are glad we did.  This is a very nice, if a little isolated, B&B. The bathroom had a gas fireplace, which kept Carmella warm.  We go to Savannah in December and even in the South it gets chilly. Breakfasts were flexible - Wes got a full breakfast and Carmella got her cereal. The innkeepers are nice folks as well.
