Why Poughkeepsie?  It’s just down the road from Hyde Park, NY, where FDR and the Vanderbilts had their modest digs. Also, Poughkeepsie was home to Samuel Morse, of telegraph fame.  The Inn at the Falls is more of a hotel than a traditional B&B but we like the outdoor deck overlooking a small rapids.
