Wes graduated from Ohio U in 1973, was president of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter for 8 years, served on the National Alumni Board for 3 years, and was a professor for two years. Gasp. Go Bobcats. We bleed Green and White.
Ohio U is the oldest state school in the former “Northwest Territory” - Chartered in Boston and dating to 1804. The College Green is the oldest part of the campus.
The best part of homecoming is the cheesy small town parade featuring the pride of OU - the marching band.
The football team rarely wins, but the band does.

Wes and Carmella donated to the restoration of Memorial Auditorium.
On a chilly March day in 1982 Wes snapped this shot of “Jeff Hill” - the rather treacherous street that leads down to the East Green. In winter students (the drunk kind, like there is some other kind) “sled” down the hill on cafeteria trays. Gotta love it.
All duded-up for the Alumni Awards Banquet.
The new baseball field “Wren Stadium” named for the late former coach Bob Wren, who “discovered” Mike Schmidt.
