St. Louis

We went to St. Louis in October of 2004 to attend a friend’s wedding on a Friday night.  We stayed over on Saturday and were glad we did.  Cool town.  We want to go back.

The Gateway Arch is unavoidable. It really dominates the skyline. We did not take the ride to the top.

The old state house is next to the Arch and has a nice museum inside.  No charge.

Two of the antiques on display in the state house museum.

The whole town was decked out in red as the Cardinals were in the playoffs.  Even the fountains were spouting red water.

Wes’s cousin lives in the area and took us for a walk around “The Loop” including lunch at Blueberry Hill.  Good burgers.

And... we did.
