The weekend of September 13, 2008, the remnants of Hurricane Ike swept up through the midwest and into Wes’s hometown of Beavercreek, Ohio.  The storm felled several trees at his late parent’s homestead, one falling on the garage and den, wiping out the roof and the porch.  Fortunately no one was there at the time.
