This page is a vision of the US as I would have it. The government would be reduced to the skeleton it should be, instead of the 350 pound porker it has become. Schools would be privatized so parents have a say in what their children are taught, instead of sending their children off to be indoctrinated by government schools. The police would be reduced to a select force tasked with investigation of real crimes and apprehension real criminals, instead of being a force made up of high school bullies that harass the citizens they are sworn to protect. Individual citizens would be given the ability to defend themselves with whatever means THEY feel necessary, instead of gun control advocates telling potential murder and rape victims that the cops will protect them. The US would be allowing its citizens to save and invest the money they earn, instead of the government being allowed to staggering around this country and the rest of the globe like a drunken sailor tossing our tax dollars at anyone they think might vote for them or just convinces them that we ugly Americans have some obligation to the rest of the world. Citizens would be allowed to have any kind of sex they wanted and do whatever drugs they wanted as long as they harmed no one else, instead of the police being used to enforce the morals of relentlessly crusading busybodies. The military would be reduced to the Navy and Marines, instead of having an unauthorized standing Army, including the Amy Reserves and National Guard. The rights reserved to the State and the People would be restored, instead of the Federal government feeling free to send Federal agents along on bogus raids so State authorities can ignore State laws. The taxation would directly affect citizens through a national sales tax, instead of having taxes hidden everywhere especially business taxes that economically ignorant citizens believe they are not paying those taxes when they are just passed on by the businesses. There would be no more experimentation with socialist programs that are no more than legalized theft, instead of every special interest group that can make enough noise about how unfair the world is towards them being given a government handout that has to be taken from hard working non-vocal citizens. |
