NAME: Agent Marshall J. Flinkman of
Alias
OCCUPATION: Computer Genius/Gadget
Guru/God of the Drums
BIRTHDAY: December 29, 1971 (Los Angeles,
CA)
WORDS OF WISDOM: "Hush little baby, don't
you cry; Daddy's gonna' teach you about lanthanides..."
WHY DID I PICK HIM TO BE A FANGIRL
CENTERFOLD?
As played by Kevin Weisman, Marshall is the
resident computer genius and gadget inventor for J.J. Abrams' spy
drama. He is married to a fellow CIA analyst and has one son,
Mitchell. But that's where the normality stops. Alternating between
frazzled and frustrated, Marshall is always called upon to deliver a
massive amount of technobabble to the APO crew during their mission
briefings, usually adding in a few wisecracks or even a verbal
smackdown in German or Ewok. Oh, and he's pretty lethal with a spork.
Actor Kevin Weisman can also be seen as
Dreg (one of Glory's minions) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as a
commentator on those VH1 "I Love The..." specials, and banging the
drums onstage for the band Trainwreck with Kyle Gass from Tenacious D.

NAME: Scott Spiegel
OCCUPATION: Director/Writer/Producer/Actor/Fake
Shemp
BIRTHDAY: December 24, 1957 (Walnut Lake,
Michigan)
LITTLE KNOWN FACTS: He has every episode
of Lost In Space on tape. The character Scotty in The Evil
Dead is named after him. His favorite film of all-time is
Hitchcock’s North By Northwest.
WHY DID I PICK HIM TO BE A FANGIRL
CENTERFOLD? Scotty is easily the most enthusiastic film, horror
and Three Stooges geek you could find. He has been very close friends
with Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell since they started making Super 8
films together in middle school and is also close friends with Quentin
Tarantino (who credits Scotty with starting his career), Lawrence
Bender and Robert Rodriguez. Scotty forms a kind of nexus between
these two camps of filmmaking genius. He is a very talented filmmaker
in his own right. He co-wrote The Rookie (starring Clint
Eastwood and Charlie Sheen) and Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn and
wrote and directed both Intruder and From Dusk Til Dawn II:
Texas Blood Money. His latest directorial effort is My Name Is
Modesty, a movie based on the Modesty Blaise comics from the ‘60s.
Also a talented actor, his turn as Phink in Skinned Alive shows
how hilariously funny he is. Scotty is a walking encyclopedia of movie
trivia and information. And though he’s been in the business for
decades now, he remains a most excited movie fan.
Finally, Scotty is utterly tormented by the fact
that there are some fake trees used in Evil Dead II (listen to
that DVD’s brilliant commentary with him, Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell
and Greg Nicotero). If that’s not geeky, I don’t know what is.

NAME: Wil Wheaton
OCCUPATION: Writer/Blogger/Actor/Comic/Cool Stepdad/Supreme
Geek
BIRTHDAY: July 29 1972
LITTLE KNOWN FACTS: Was the person with whom one Ashley
Judd, as Ensign Robin Lefler shared her first screen kiss on
Star Trek: The Next Generation. (Stitch that, Wesley nay-sayers!)
WHY DID I PICK HIM TO BE A FANGIRL CENTERFOLD? Where do I
start? He's a hometown boy. (OK, he's from the SGV and I'm from the
South Bay, but the shared LA memories are there!) Because Gordie
LaChance was basically me at 13, only a boy, ¦and wow, did he ever
capture me. At 33, he's a former child star who has managed not to
fall prey to any of the old cliche's. Because though he's struggled in
his own way, he's emerged from "what ever happened to?" status and the
shadow of Wesley Crusher as a beloved internet personality, a terrific
writer, and a dedicated family man (The kind who gets misty when his
step-kids want to pay with his old D&D stuff aww!). Wil is, in fact,
so spectacularly cool that he managed to swing Neil Gaiman (who he's
never even met) to write the foreword to his latest book, Just A Geek.
Brrrrilliant.

NAME: Seth Green
OCCUPATION: Director/Writer/Producer/Actor/Action
Figure God
BIRTHDAY: February 8th, 1974
LITTLE KNOWN FACTS: He's 5 foot 4 inches
tall, he had a show on a Sony website called Sweet J Presents that was
one of the funniest damn things you've ever seen. This show has
now become Robot Chicken and is one of Cartoon Networks biggest hits
EVER.
WHY DID I PICK HIM TO BE A FANGIRL
CENTERFOLD? Because not only is he hot, he's funny, and he knows
the true beauty that is old school action figures. Seth is one
of the funniest guys around, and he brought to life Oz from Buffy the
Vampire Slayer in a way that no one else could have. Robot
Chicken is gold baby, gold! Oh and he looks great in drag, just
check out Party Monster. Oh and the immortal words "Time
to shave your genitals." as spoken by Starscream of the Transformers.
If you saw Sweet J presents, that last sentence would mean so much
more to you.
