Short Bio

Hmm...let's see...born and raised in Massillon, OH, moved to Ocala, FL in '85 and now live in Tampa, FL. Single

working gal who loves her cat maybe a bit too much. Is that possible? Some defining moments: Hearing Kiss for the first

time at age 3, seeing The Evil Dead for the first time at age 13 and seeing The Empire Strikes Back 26 times at

the theatre because I was hopelessly in love with Han Solo. I think I cried every time they froze him in the carbonite. I may

never recover. Now I'm living the Fangirl life sharing my love of all things geeky by writing for this amazing site.

What made you realize you were a Fangirl?

I was always such a tomboy, even when I was very, very young. A lot of my tastes were influenced by my older brother, who

introduced me to my first love - Kiss! I also owe my great, great love of horror flicks and heavy metal to him. He was the one

who showed me The Evil Dead and from there on, I was a hopeless horror geek. And thank God for that! As far as my childhood

goes, it was pretty much Star Wars and Kiss toys for me! I was never much of a Barbie doll kind of gal. Well, I played with

their hair and pretended they were groupies for my Kiss dolls, but that's a story I don't have space for here...

If you could be any character in any movie or TV show ever made, who would it be and why?

Probably Ellen Ripley in the Alien movies because she's strong, smart, sexy, takes absolutely no shit and kicks serious ass!
