ACTOR LINKS

Simon Pegg

(AKA Shaun from Shaun of the Dead, Tim from Spaced, Peter Sellers Award-winning comic genius and all around Fanboy god... site run by Fangirl Mag's good mate, Harmony!)

p.s. Sign The Petition!
Simon Pegg is a huge Simpsons fan. One of his dreams is to be on an episode of this classic show. With only a few seasons left, this dream needs to come true. Let's see if we can make this happen! Sign the petition to get Simon Simpsonized!

Nick Frost

(AKA Ed from Shaun of the Dead, Mike from Spaced, and teacher of the do's and don'ts of survival in Danger! 50,000 Volts...site run by mad, bad Tommy Boy)

Joe Bob Briggs

(Okay, So he's mainly known for being a hot cowboy who loves b-movies...but Joe Bob/John Bloom is a Fangirl's Dream and he's also an actor, not to mention a bad mofo of a writer.)

Hugh Jackman

The man who made Weapon X live and breathe, soon to star in Darren Arronofsky's epic The Fountain - and he sings, too. Unreal! (site co-staffed by our own Nic!)

Gerard Butler

AUTHOR LINKS

Laurie King

Writer of the very excellent Sherlock Holmes and Mary Russell series.  She has created in Mary the female equal of Sherlock Holmes.  They are some of the most well written mysteries this Fangirl has ever read.  If you love Holmes, you'll love these books.

Laurell K Hamilton

Writer of the super vampire hunter series about Anita Blake and the yummy Jean Claude.  Laurell has done for vampire books what Buffy did for vampire TV.  She also writes the Mary Gentry books, set in a reality where Fairies are real and not very nice a lot of the time.

Chelsea Quinn Yarbro

Writer of the Saint Germain vampire series which started back in the late 70's and is still going strong.  Chelsea is on par with Anne Rice when it comes to prolific vampire writing.  She's also a fantasy writer.

NEWS LINKS

Fangoria Magazine

One of the best and original genre specific magazines and still going strong.

Giant Magazine

Yeah, it says its for guys...but they lie like a rug.  This mag has some of the best stuff out there, including full page pictures of Billy Dee Williams swinging a blue cape with authority, 4 page articles on Battle of the Network Stars, and all kinds of other cool stuff.  Plus, they publish reports written by Joe Bob Briggs...that alone is worth the cover price.

Rue Morgue Magazine

Rue Morgue is a slick all horror mag that covers everything from film, tv, music, and books.  It's always packed full of twisted goodness.  Their website also has Rue Morgue radio that you can listen to streaming on your computer or you can download the entire show to keep.  It's in 3 parts and is new every month.  They intersperse film dialog and clips with wicked horror rock and tunes, all hosted by Tomb Dragomir.
