In California, as in many other places, the Agapanthus is a reliable standby for contract landscaping. Biologically, it is one of the oldest plants known. It comes from Africa and is of the lily family. This view is from my front yard where quail, deer and coyotes invade the landscaping from adjacent, protected, undeveloped land.
