Peru, Islas Ballestas

While making an excursion to this island breeding ground for many water bird species as well as sea lions we went through this natural tunnel. Returning an hour or so later we found conditions much more intense; the sea had come up sporting a choppy surf. Jack Grove, our Zodiac operator, proved his mettle by keeping his balance and his passengers inside the boat.
