Samuel P Taylor Park

The park is located in the northwestern section of Marin County You will probably pass by the camp grounds on your way to Point Reyes National Seashore. Frequent visitors to the park are hikers, mountain climbers and the many people using the barbeque facilities for family picnics. The stream is next to the picnic area, and it is low and lazy during Summer and Fall, but during the rainy seasons of Winter and Spring it can be a raging torrent on its mission to dump the excess water into the Pacific Ocean. The debris from the forest is left to attest to its power.
