Islotes Pajaros (Bird Islands) off the northern coast of Chile, are protected from guano miners and tourists, but we can approach the island shores in our Zodiacs. We got good looks at Sea Lions, Penquins and sea birds. The perspective used in the painting is from the island looking outward. Who is entertaing whom?
