****The Gong is mentioned only once in the New Testament. This reference is the start of Paul's discourse on Love. I Corinthians 13:1 says "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong (chalkos) or a clanging cymbal.
The Greek word 'Chalkos' is translated gong, brass, or copper.
