The word 'saliys' appears only once in the OT and is translated lute. the reference is I Sam 18:6-7:
When the men were returning after David had killed the Philistine [Goliath], the women came out from all the towns of Israel to meet Kin Saul with singing and dancing, with joyful songs and with tambourines and lutes. As they danced, they sang: "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands."
