What's Up With Bill

Retired life is good, and Bill still wears the retiree smile proudly after being retired from Telcordia for a year and a half now.   Bill  does miss his former work friends, but a PICS reunion was held in November which brought over a hundred former colleagues back together for an evening of nostalgia and catching up.  Thanks to Betty Hahn for organizing this amazing and memorable evening.

While Kathy was still working, Bill actually enjoyed rumbling around the house during the day.  So yes, it was an adjustment when Kathy joined the ranks of the retired in June.  Now, Kathy and Bill had to compete for ... the computer.  Luckily, this problem was resolved in October with the purchase of Kathy's new laptop along with wireless internet (thanks again to Dan for his technical prowess), and now all is well again.

In addition to all those house projects (with many "helpful" suggestions from Kathy), Bill also has more time for fun stuff --- like internet bridge (www.okbridge.com), going to the gym at midday and making friends with other codgers (er, retirees), and following his Monmouth Hawks basketball team.

Bill also is still actively involved at Hope Presbyterian Church, serving as a Deacon and playing in their bell choir (The Ringers of Hope).  He also continues to do SAT tutoring for Huntington Learning Center in West Long Branch on a part-time basis, as well as some private tutoring.

So here is a new challenge for all you hot geometry studs out there.  Solve the following challenging problem and send us your answer.
