TABLES OF G HAPLOTYPES
Haplotypes (sets of repeat
values) for Haplogroup G are available from two main sources, published
research articles and public databases, such as Y-Search and Y-Base. Others are available from surname
projects. The published research
articles cover populations from many parts of the world and usually have
confirmed SNP results, but usually only a few STR values are provided. The databases often have many more STR
markers for which results are reported, but the individuals who contributed
those haplotypes usually do not know for sure (no SNP tests) that they are in
Haplogroup G.

For the published studies,
only a basic set of markers are available.
Many studies that were published in 2002 and earlier used obsolete
nomenclature and a limited set of SNPs, so many potential G haplotypes in these
studies could not be identified and included here. Those haplotypes that have sufficient
information to identify them are arranged in numerical order in the table at
the following link:
