So I got a new assignment at work yesterday, migrate some applications from the mainframe! Arrrgghhh! For anyone that doesn't know, I am a programmer consultant by day and comic book family man at night, but anyway they asked me to migrate data and application from the mainframe which just made me cringe because I haven't touched a mainframe in over 10yrs. I got one of the full time mainframmers to give me the quick rundown to refresh my memory and got on my way, now I remember why I got out of mainframe cobol development and went into client/server programming :-). I may never make it out of this one alive! I retrieved my first dataset file that was on the mainframe in storage and to my horror it was Binary compressed, and so old that noone knows where the original code was to create this file, so time to play the guessing game. Well back to work. Wish me luck.

Spidey Super Stories #021
I finished this book the other day and will be sending it to abpc in the next day or so. It is my mission if I choose to accept it to get all these books to abpc just so I can hear the moans and groans of all the good folk out there about what a awful comic it actually was, but what do you expect being co-produced by a childrens show :-). I remember as a child watching the Spiderman skits on the Electric Company ahhhh the memories, almost brings as many fond memories back as the old Adam West/Burt Ward Batman tv series.
