Synopsis

A dragon is captured and owned by a cold-hearted noblewoman. A sweet innocent animal keeper, half-brother to the noblewoman, takes care of dragon and they become best friends. The dragon is lonely and the keeper is the only one who is nice to him, so the dragon becomes attracted to him, although is not in love with him. One of the keeper's friends teases him about being a virgin. The dragon teaches him about blowjobs, but they don't screw. Then the dragon gets assigned to the knight. The knight orders the dragon around, and the dragon rebells. We find out that the knight is pissy because the coldhearted noblewoman has sold him into being the fiance of the nobleman the keeper has a hero-worship crush on the knight. Explain the knight and noblewoman's liege oath in a flashback. The nobleman is built up to be a bad guy because he taunts his reluctant fiance and one of the keeper's friends could come by ranting about how the nobleman is terrible, but the real problem is that the friend lost all his money gambling with the brilliant and sneaky nobleman. Only the coldhearted noblewoman was too smart to gamble with him, and encourages her half-brother to get himself in trouble by gambling with him.

The keeper gets the idea of gambling with the nobleman to save the knight, which is doomed, so the dragon has to step in. He trades himself to the nobleman in the knight's place and matchmakers between the knight and the keeper. The noblewoman has drugged the knight with an aphrodisiac to make him cooperate with the nobleman, but he ends up screwing the stableboy instead. The noblewoman is enraged to find her prize dragon gone and catch the knight making out with the keeper. She starts to beat her half-brother, but when she beats the knight's lover, that sets the knight free of his oath of loyalty to her. So she loses all her stuff for not respecting love. They flee to the nobleman and beg for protection, which the dragon asks for as a wedding present. The noblewoman is publicly humiliated at court.

Chapter Outline

Prologue:

We start with the newly-captured and naked Vaiellen being presented to a smug Fayvea by her knights, including Kaid and Brettam who is more suave and flashy but a bit condescending. This makes both knights look like bad guys to start with. Vai (unconscious) is collared by Fayvea and placed in the stable where Cam is ordered to get him awake and healthy so he can be used to impress the other nobles at the upcoming tournament.

Chapter One:
The knight who is sort of Cam's friend stays by to ogle the captured dragon. Vaiellen awakens, but says nothing. The knight makes a comment on Vai's nakedness which makes Cam blush, and then teases Cam about being a virgin, which makes him blush more; then the knight leaves. Vai talks to Cam, asking where he is and then begging to be set free. Cam is startled – he didn't realize that Vaiellen could talk and think like a human, and realizes that enslaving Vai tries to set Vai free. This is foiled by the magic collar, and Fayvea comes to gloat and insult Cam, the leaves again. Cam apologizes to Vaiellen for not being able to set him free, but Vai says it's not his fault, he considers Cam his friend for trying.

Chapter Two:

That night Vai decides if he's trapped here he at least wants to get some sex. He asks if Cam is really a virgin, because he's so cute, surely someone must have noticed and tried to seduce him, but if not Vai would be happy to help Cam lose that pesky virginity. Cam blushes a lot and nervously explains that he only wants to have sex with someone who will love him...? Basically Cam gives Vai the chance to romance him, but Vai wants to leave, he doesn't want to commit to Cam and staying here. So Vai takes the angle of asking if Cam has ever done anything, and although saving himself for a true love is admirable, does he really want to be totally clueless about sex, or would he like to learn a few things so he can make a better impression when he does meet his true love? For example, does he even know what a blowjob is? Vai is lonely and would like to give this gift to his only friend. Cam lets himself be talked into it, and sucks Cam's cock until Cam is really into it, then stops and teaches Cam how to suck his cock.

Chapter Three:

In the morning, Fayvea assigns Kaid to practice riding Vai in preparation for making an impressive show at the tournament. Kaid (seeing Vai as an animal?) tries to order Vaiellen around, and Vai is not at all pleased. But, somehow involving Cam, Kaid is convinced to be polite to Vaiellen and Vai is convinced to cooperate with Kaid.

Chapter Four:

The tournament happens. Lisseth is introduced here, jadedly watching the tournament until he is suddenly impressed by the dragonriding. Kaid (bare chested, maybe with ribbons tied around his biceps?) and Vai (in animal form) do make an impressive show. It doesn't matter what exactly they do, just something visually flashy with Vai flying and Kaid either throwing small lances at targets or capturing rings on a bigger lance. Possibly the finale could be Vai breathing fire on something. Lisseth is totally smitten with Kaid. Lisseth goes to speak with Fayvea. Initially he challenges her to gamble, and when she wisely refuses he offers her a trade instead, and a marriage is arranged. There will be a short delay, because the marriage will not happen until Lisseth can get Fayvea's payment rounded up and transported to her house. Fayvea doesn't care about losing Kaid because she'll still have the dragon, it will be easy enough for another of her knights to learn to ride him. She thinks it's amusing that the reputedly-shrewed Lisseth is oblivious to the true prize and willing to pay a high price for something worthless. Lisseth is presented to Kaid and Vaiellen (still in animal form). Kaid is repulsed and afraid, while Vai feels ambivalent – amused to see Kaid lose his composure, but feeling that no one should be trapped into an unwanted marriage, and considering Lisseth beautiful but pushy. Fayvea emphasizes to Kaid that he must do it because of his oath to her.

Chapter Five:

Back at home Kaid is depressed and angry, and Cam is worried for him. Cam is told (by Vai, Kaid, or both?) about the engagement. They ask the other knight who is Cam's friend about Lord Lisseth, and the friend says Lisseth is terrible, then reveals that he is mostly mad because he lost a bunch of money gambling with the lord. Cam comes up with the doomed idea of gambling with lord Lisseth for Kaid's freedom and can't be persuaded out of it. Cam's statements here show that he loves Kaid. Vai wants to protect Cam and also somewhat wants to protect Kaid (although he's kinda annoyed that Kaid seems to be straight and thus won't return Cam's love), and is somewhat jealous that the beautiful and canny Lisseth hasn't noticed that Vai is at least as handsome as Kaid (although Vai was in animal form both times Lisseth was there, so he didn't really have a chance to get Lisseth to notice him.) But Vai is still trapped because of the collar.

Chapter Six:

Lord Lisseth's payment arrives. Fayvea forces Kaid to drink a potion and put on a hooded wedding robe, again emphasizing his vow of fealty to her. When Fayvea is busy for a few minutes, Vai grabs the despairing Kaid and drags him into the stable. He convinces Kaid to unlock his collar and he will put on Kaid's robe and take his place. Vai also makes Kaid promise to protect Cam in Vai's place. Kaid's cheeks are becoming flushed as the lust potion takes effect. Vai sees the opportunity to help Cam out and tells Cam that Kaid seems sick, take care of him and keep him hidden in the stable, and Vai has thought of a clever plan to sort things out with Lord Lisseth. Vai doesn't tell Cam that he's going to offer to marry Lisseth in Kaid's place, because he knows Cam would protest. He hurriedly pulls on the robe and goes with the guards who escort him to Lord Lisseth's mansion. In the stables, Cam hovers over Kaid like a mother hen and Kaid tries to fight the potion but gives in and kisses Cam.

Chapter Seven:

The guards accompany Vai to Lord Lisseth's house. The other knight, thinking Vai is Kaid, apologizes for his cooperation in this mess; since Vai's voice is quite different from Kaid's he can only remain silent or grunt in response. Some oddity of Vai's voice or appearance makes them suspicious, but Vai manages to reassure them, and they arrive at Lord Lisseth's house. Lisseth pushes back Vai's hood and goes, “Who the hell are you?!” The guards are very alarmed. Vai introduces himself and says that he was jealous of Kaid and switched places with him, he would be happy to be Lisseth's lover whereas Kaid is unwilling because he doesn't appreciate Lisseth's beauty, and isn't a dragon better than a dragonrider? But if Lisseth still wants Kaid, he had better keep Vai as collateral, otherwise Fayvea will claim she paid him and if he managed to lose the payment it's his own fault. Lisseth is impressed by Vaiellen's sexiness and brains, and agrees he will try Vai for the night, then make up his mind whether to keep Vai or demand Kaid in exchange for Vai. Meanwhile the worried-looking guards hurry home to explain the mix-up to Fayvea, who they know is going to be furious.

Chapter Eight:

Kaid makes love to Cam laying in the straw in the stable. Vaiellen makes love to Lisseth in the lord's big canopied bed. Lisseth is very pleased with Vai and says the switch definitely worked out in his favor and the wedding will take place in the morning. Kaid's potion has finally worn off and he is looking at the happily sleeping Cam in his arms and wondering what he has just done. The harried-looking guards arrive back and report to Lady Fayvea, who stomps off to the stable. Fayvea is furious because she knows Kaid must have unlocked the dragon's collar, and is twice as furious when she sees the two of them laying together and Kaid's instinctive move to protect Cam from her sight as Cam wakes, confused about what's going on. Fayvea unleashes a torrent of insults on both of them while they are embarrassedly pulling their pants on, and finally Fayvea loses her temper completely and strikes Cam, then draws back her hand to hit him again. Kaid suddenly snaps into action and grabs Fayvea's wrist. She begins to go on about his oath of loyalty again but Kaid interrupts and points out that while he promised to loyally serve Fayvea, she also made a promise as part of the oath – a promise to protect Kaid's loved ones as a good liege. Kaid loves Cam – in striking Cam Fayvea has broken her oath and freed Kaid from his. She will NOT touch Cam again, she has NO right to force Kaid to marry anyone, and they're leaving, good riddance to her. She sneers that they have no where else to go and Kaid grimly agrees but says they're leaving anyway. He quickly boosts Cam up onto his horse, vaults on himself, then they ride off into the night. Fayvea screams for her guards to close the gate so they can't escape, but the other knight, wanting to help them, deliberately misinterprets her orders and closes the gate as soon as the two have left, such that the pursuers almost crash into it and are delayed by the blockage.

Chapter Nine:

Riding through the night, Cam stammeringly asks Kaid if he really meant it when he said he loved him. Kaid replies something nervous but sweet, and Cam says he loves Kaid too, twisting around to hug Kaid and almost knocking them both off the horse, hehe. To change the subject to something less disconcerting, Kaid asks Cam if he has any idea where they should go. Cam asks where Vaiellen is, and Kaid confesses that Vai sacrificed himself to go to Lord Lisseth in Kaid's place. Cam is alarmed and insists they go to Lisseth's house immediately and rescue Vai. Kaid agrees, reluctantly because he is still afraid of Lisseth and now a bit jealous of Cam's concern for Vai. They arrive at dawn and find that the gate is open and the place already bustling. Asking a bystander what's going on, he says that they're getting ready for the wedding, of course. Kaid and Cam look at each other in surprise and head toward the house to investigate further. Meanwhile Vai and Lisseth are lazily kissing in the early morning light. (they have switched positions – Lisseth is on top now).

Someone knocks on the door and calls through it, “I'm sorry my lord, but I thought you would want to hear this.” Lisseth looks annoyed and yells “What?” The servant says they caught two people snooping around asking for information about his lordship's fiance. Lisseth and Vaiellen throw some robes on and open the door. Lisseth sees Kaid and exclaims, “You!” Cam calls, “Vai! Are you okay?” Vai says, “I'm fine. Excellent, actually. But what are you two doing here?” Explanations are exchanged, convincing Cam and Kaid that Lisseth is a good guy after all, and Vai really wants to marry him. Cam coos over the idea “I wish I was getting married!” – he loves weddings – soothing Lisseth and Kaid's jealousy over Cam and Vai's obvious friendship. Vai asks if Lisseth was intending to give him a wedding present and Lisseth asks, “Wedding present?” Vai asks Lisseth to hire Cam and Kaid to work at the stable so he'll be able to be near his friends, and Lisseth thinks this is great because it will annoy Lady Fayvea nicely. He points out that she was invited to the wedding, and it would be an even better revenge if she also had to sit and watch her runaway knight and nephew be wed. Cam and Kaid blush but look at each other shyly and don't object, so Lisseth says it's decided, it will be a double wedding. He sends them off with a servant to be put in a guest room and hurriedly garbed for the wedding by a flock of seamstresses, then leads Vai back to bed because they have another hour or so before they have to start getting ready for the wedding.

Epilogue:

It's a beautiful wedding, and Lady Fayvea is indeed sitting watching it, smiling with gritted teeth to a clueless noblewoman with a ridiculous hat who says, “My dear, why didn't you tell me your dragon had such an adorable human form and was going to be marrying Lord Lisseth? And a double wedding, how delightful! Lady Gavrey had it all muddled up, she told me it was the red-haired knight who was going to marry Lord Lisseth!” The other knight stood at attention nearby in his fancy dress uniform, trying not to let Lady Fayvea catch him smiling.

Title page:

Title, worked into an image that takes up the top 2/3s of the page. Bottom of the page is a splash to establish setting, drawing attention to the traveling wagon and the noblewoman waiting for it..

Prologue:

Notes: These chapter divisions are only for us, I don't want any chapter titles or numbers in the actual manga. Page numbers are good though. Also, I may want to edit the dialogue slightly so don't write it in the panels, just leave a space for it. We'll probably want to type it so it looks neat anyway, same with the page numbers. Also, if I write a long piece of dialogue, feel free to break it into multiple speech bubbles, or multiple panels if necessary. If two characters are talking you can either combine them into a panoramic panel or give them each their own close-up, whichever seems best.)

In the sunny courtyard of a fancy manor house the noblewoman Fayvea stands looking authoritative (arms crossed under her breasts?) and smug. A servant is holding a parasol over her head to block the sun. An ox-cart(?) with a wooden cage built into it is approaching or has arrived, but we can't see what's in it yet – maybe just a tail hanging out between the bars. If the cart is arriving, it makes a cloud of dust when it arrives and Fayvea covers her mouth and nose with a handkerchief and looks irritated. When the cart is stopped Kaid and Brettam kneel on one knee before Fayvea, looking a bit dusty and disheveled. Kaid has a slightly grumpy uninterested expression, but Brettam is grinning. Brettam looks suave and cocky, he has wavy hair. Brettam says, “Lady Fayvea, your plan worked perfectly! The enchanted stone forced him into his human form, leaving him unarmed and unable to fly, and thus we were easily able to capture him!” (So this could be either 1 panel or 3 panels, depending on how you want to do it.)

Close-up of Fayvea peering into the cart suspiciously.

A large lovely panel of a nude Vaiellen sprawled unconscious in the cart. His neck should be near one side of the cart so Fayvea can put the collar on him later. This panel is either the bottom of page 1 or the top of page 2.

A close-up of Fayvea, turning her head to accusingly address the knights. “He's unconscious - you didn't damage him, did you? I need him to be healthy enough to fly at the tournament next week so I can use him to impress all the other nobles.”

Kaid (annoyed): “I only tapped him. He should wake up soon enough.”

Fayvea (with poisonous sweetness): Kaid, you really need to improve your attitude. Look at Brettam: he's charming and he reaps the rewards: Brettam, would you like to ride the dragon in the tournament and impress all the young ladies and gentlemen?

Brettam smiles but sweatdrops. An arrow says, “afraid of heights”. “Oh I think you should give Kaid a chance M'lady – I fancy he would be much better at dealing with a wild animal than I would.”

Fayvea laughs an evil ohohoho laugh with smiling eyes and hand delicately in front of her mouth. “Because he is a wild animal himself, you mean? Indeed, I believe we'll have him ride bare-chested: sky beast and human beast! It will be a delightful spectacle! Although he might be more likely to scare the pretty young things than earn their affections.” Kaid is glowering and keeps glowering throughout the prologue and beginning of chapter 1. This panel is either the bottom of page 2 or the top of page 3.

Close up of Fayvea's (gloved?) fingers snapping.

A servant holds open a wooden box containing Vai's collar, which Fayvea is reaching to pick up.

Fayvea puts the collar on Vai. It goes “Click!” as it locks closed. This panel is either the bottom of page 3 or the top of page 4.

Fayvea, standing under her parasol again, orders. “Good. Put him in the stable. My worthless nephew likes to play with animals – he can make himself useful for once and keep an eye on the dragon.” This panel is either the bottom of page 4, or, if you have more room, add the following optional panel to the bottom of the page.

Optional panel: Fayvea glides off toward the house with her train of servants while the knights take the dragon in the opposite direction, to the stable. The knights could either take the whole cart or pull him out of the cart and just carry him.

Top of page 5: Cam watches wide-eyed as Kaid and Brettam dump the still-naked and unconscious Vaiellen into a box stall. (Basically a square area with wooden walls, straw on the floor, probably a window, and one door opening onto the main isle of the stables. But these details don't matter, it could be different, like the straw-filled end of the barn, which would only have 3 walls and be open to the main isle on one side. It will be good as long as it looks fairly comfortable for people to lay down in the straw. Personally I recommend you do one nice version of this background and use it repeatedly for the two sex scenes that take place in the stables.)

Kaid, still glowering, stalks away as soon as he has dropped his burden. Cam says enthusiastically, “Hi Kaid!” but is ignored.

A close-up shows Vaiellen's eyes slightly open.

Cam says sadly “...bye Kaid.”

Top of page 6: Brettam says, “Oh, don't mind him Cam, he's just in a bad mood. But look at this dragon we captured! I've never seen one this close before, have you? Or this naked, haha!

Cam stares at the dragon, fascinated, and Brettam elbows him teasingly "Yeah, he's pretty big...

Brettam poses with his chest puffed out, “But nothing like me." Cam looks at Brettam wide eyed and blushing.

Cam blushes and looks away. “M-maybe we should find him some pants.”

Brettam grins teasingly, maybe poking Cam or patting him on the head. “Oh that's right, our Cammy is still a blushing virgin, isn't he?”

Brettam says more seriously, “You know you can always go out on the town and meet some people. Although really you need to ask you aunt for an allowance so you can get some new clothes and have enough pocket money to treat a pretty thing to a drink or a meal. I really think she would respect you more if you stood up for yourself and were dressed more impressively...”

Cam looks down, “No Brettam it's okay, I don't want to fight with her and I don't really want to go out anywhere.”

Top of page 7: Brettam looks sad and puts a hand on Cam's shoulder comfortingly. “Well if you say so, but... Well never mind. Anyway I have to go take a shower – dragon wrangling is hard work! You keep an eye on this fellow; the collar is magic and will supposedly keep him from making any trouble, but he still looks about as strong as you are. Feed him, make sure Kaid didn't bash him over the head too hard, but if he tries to hit you you shout and run to me or Kaid for help, got it?”

Close up on Vaiellen's eyes again.

Cam looks painfully earnest. “Sure Brettam, I'll do a good job!”

Brettam says cheerfully, maybe while tousling Cam's hair or waving goodbye, “Good lad.” Brettam leaves.

Cam turns and is startled to find Vaiellen wide awake and regarding him thoughtfully. “Oh, you're awake!”
