Nerves/Models/Histology
I didn't label some of this this stuff.... I am sure you will all have fun looking at the models, diagrams, and microphotographs and figuring it all out......
The microphotographs of the eye, cochlea, and tongue are halfway down the page.

Anterior view of CNS, note great visibility of autonomous nerves

Anterior model of nervous system....

Close up of first model above. Note nice detail at medula level.

"Nervous Students"
"Tag 23 is a
'what?'
Photo entitled: "Human: Study Thyself"

Spinal Cord/spinal nerves model

Just another view of same as above

I think they call this Nervous Ned. Editorial remark: Why is this model any better than a so-so book illustration? Except that it has been handled
so much, some of the nerve ganglia have been worn away by generations of COD students?

Section through one turn of cochlea... I think The Tecorial membrane has broken off, and is not covering the hair cells.
This corresponds to Figure on page 551, Tortora

Pic of cellular layers of retina (see page 246 Anatomy Lab Manual)

Pic of optic nerve exit area (I think)

Pic of one edge of Lens (rounded object bottom center) and Ciliary body.

Close up of some tounge papillae

Section of tounge a bit less magnified than pic above
