This webpage is dedicated to the bringing our daughter Lianna Amaris Soo Yeon from South Korea. 

As you know by now, we started the process of adopting our daughter in October of 2007 by researching agencies. It soon became clear that AAC Adoption in Berthoud Colorado was our choice. We started the process of gathering all our materials together and turned in our final paper work for adoption starting in February 2008. We were all excited and then we found we were 26th on the list for a girl and our home study wouldn't start until some time around the last six months before referral as home studies can not be over 6 months old going to South Korea.

So the wait began. However, we were referred our little girl 11 months later (not the 15 predicted months) and brought her home on the 8th of April after she was escorted from Korea with the director and Korea program coordinator after a trip there. This was also a lot less time than expected as the usual wait time is 4-6 months and recently it has been as long as 6-9 months to bring children home after referrals. We were very forunate and have been blessed by Lianna.
