The Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS)
is mounted to a 4" by 4" fence post, about 5 feet above the ground. The ISS
contains
the rain gauge, temperature and humidity sensors. The wind vane and anemometer
are located at the top of a 10 foot mast
and are connected to the ISS by a cable. The ISS transmits all data by radio
signal to a receiver in the house.
