This image started as a close-up digital photo of a live Common Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis). After some manipulation, I managed to get a portion of the image to tile on the screen and give the impression of a snake skin. If you are interested in using it as wallpaper, follow the directions below the photographs. Keep in mind, that if your are already using a screen saver from the Internet, unless you save that file, it will be replaced by this new wallpaper.

If you are using Internet Explorer, here are directions to get one of these pictures as your computer wallpaper. Sorry, but if you are using another type of browser, you'll have to figure it out your self.
STEP ONE: Choose the image that best fits your screen size. If you aren't sure of your screen size, just try one, and if it doesn't look right when you are finished, come back and try another. Right-click on your chosen picture. You will then see the following menu pop up:

STEP TWO: Choose "Set as Wallpaper" with the right-click menu, as shown above.
STEP THREE: Enjoy the photos!
