This video was taken at CCI in Ohio by Adrena Wilhem (Brim's trainer) during our visit in September. I taught Brim how to open a door that opens out; this is harder for a dog to learn because it's actually 2 commands at one time "Tug" and "Push". I can now just say "Brim Open", but I've only had Brim do this on 1 door. In order for a dog to realize a command can be done anywhere we're told to teach it in 3 different places, so when I first gave the command "Open" I was prepared for him to look at me like "what do you mean?", but to my surprise he did it on the first command. Gwen asked if they could video Brim opening the door to show during team training during the advanced learning theory lecture. Well, they got the camera and more people came to watch and Brim decided to play around acting more like I thought he would act the first he open this door; he's just like a kid.. Oh well.
