| EPeople required a
site to provide virtual makeovers on the Internet. Scenarios
involve users selecting "models" faces and add makeup items
to the face as well as accessories such as eyeglasses and earrings.
There was also possibilities of uploading a photo of their own
face to apply items to. This technology is the basis of several
web sites focusing on different target audiences. |
 |
| Base code began with
a prototype for applying makeup to the face using a Windows
fat client. WinMac provided the architecture to convert the
prototype to an internet application. This included early demo
software using ActiveX controls, next step was the conversion
to server side rendering code with client side browser controls.
Hooks were provided for E-Commerce to be added later on. |
