| Extreme Networks offers
a range of advanced networking switches essential for connecting
computers and other hardware to each other and the internet.
Critical to the efficient use of production lines is testing
and troubleshooting at the board level. This resulted in the
creation of in-house automated test stations and technician
troubleshooting stations. |
 |
| WinMac provided software
to control these test and troubleshooting stations. A tiered
UI was required to accommodate varying personnel skill levels.
This also meant access permissions were stored. An interesting
feature included remote tool monitoring via a dial up connection
since the production line was not near the research and development
center. |
