![]() I thought it would also be appropriate to post the original letter in response to Windancers correspondence with Marks family. Mark has had periodic health issues for the last 3 years that he lived w/near us in northern MN. Phebiltis, some dizziness etc. When we visited on Easter Sunday he did not look well, but when asked he blew it off in typical Mark fashion-----"I'm fine" On tha Saturday eve after easter he called our daughter and asked to be taken to the hospital, 2AM. The nurse questioned him about symptoms and he was able to respond. Within a few hours he was in a coma and remained so for 4-5 days. On the susequent Thurs,29th, he seemed to rally and was responsive, but still on respirator. They removed him from the respitrator, and he seemed to be fighting the good fight. He had developed pneumonia, his kidneys were failing and other stuff was going on. He rallyed from all that, and w/the exception of the kidneys seemed to be holding his own. On Monday May 1 things looked grim. The hospital called us the AM 3:30 on may3. He lost the battle @5:30AM. The diagnosis was HepititisC . He was loved by all who knew him and the outpouring of that love was and remains so. Thanks for getting back and for whatever role you played in his life. 30848 County 37 Laporte, MN 56461 218-224-2789 ![]() |
