When the Police Department "goes live" in the new building at 965 Broadway, our hope is to implement more eco-friendly practices. Part of this plan is to make accident reports available via e-mail. For details, watch our web site and local newspapers such as The Link.
This page contains a catalog of downloadable forms commonly needed by people in their official dealings with the West Long Branch Police Department.

These forms, some of which can be filled out on your home computer, can be downloaded by right clicking on the link, or by opening them by clicking on the link. Please be advised that you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to use these forms. Please do not e-mail these forms to the Police Department as most require an actual signature to be submitted.
If you do not know what a portion of the form is asking you, chances are you do not need to fill that portion in. Watch for any legends or keys included with the form.
Fill out the form and bring it to WLBPD for filing. The Records Bureau is customarily open between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Records Bureau is not open on recognized holidays and when there is an unanticipated staffing deficit.

Most all telephone inquiries can be channeled through the West Long Branch Police Dispatcher, 732-229-5000. However, here are two special numbers for your reference. Each number has voice mail and you may leave a message for the officer you're attempting to contact.

Calls for the Detective Bureau and other Bureaus of the Department should be made through the main number.
SPECIAL NOTE: We have developed a new form, the Police Report Acknowledgement, which is available for pick up either at the time you file a report (in person) at Headquarters or after the fact from the Records Bureau. This form is a simple statement of having made a report to the WLBPD and captions the reporting party's name, date of report, case number and nature of incident. This is often satisfactory for submitting to employers, insurance companies, etc and is an easy way to accelerate the post-incident recovery process. These forms are NOT available on-line.
