Gem
Lake is a small natural pond sitting at the top of Lumpy Ridge.
This is a popular destination for hikers in the early season,
since snow melts early on this south facing ridge. The Gem Lake
trail is an moderately easy 2 mile hike through the interesting
rock formations of Lumpy Ridge.
