VHF Antenna.

Here is a closeup of the Larson NMO dual bander VHF antenna mounting. I used a lip mount bracket I picked up at HRO. The bracket is secured to the fender with a couple small sheet metal screws on the inside of the fender. This avoids drilling a large hole for the NMO connector.

This setup works fine for close in VHF to local repeaters, but is not great for weak signal simplex.
