| This 77 Cutlass Supreme belongs to Matt Woods. He bought this car in 85 and painted and restified it in 90. The modifications he did is he put a 455 engine with a Tri-Power set up from a 66 442 W-30. He then had Mondello do a set of heads for him. His car has 87 442 wheels, bucket seats, T-tops, console, dual gate shifter and rallye gauge package. Matt also just put the A/C back on the car. The hood is a special OAI (outside air induction) setup from VFN in Illinois. A 3:42 posi is what puts power to the pavement and he is looking forward to taking her down the track at least once. mrolds@netexp.com (Matt Woods) | |||||

| The '70 Vista Cruiser was found on the Internet in 1999 and was only 2 hours away, but he never did go look at it. Then he saw it again at the 2000 Homecoming show in Lansing, MI still for sale. He bought the car one month later as a "daily driver". It's a Texas car with no rust and is close to original. RC calls it his "Poor Man's Suburban" and uses it daily to tote around his family and two dogs. Although he planned to drive it year round, RC decided to store the car during the winter and keep it away from Michigan's salty roads. mrhell@sprynet.com (RC Hellebuyck) web site. | |||||

| These
2 cars belong to James Kryta. The first one is a 1971 442 W30 that he had
bought in his senior year of high school. He has done a painstaking
restification to this car. It has modern tweaks with the classic muscle
look.. He has gone out of his way to make the aftermarket parts look like
stock pieces. His engine is sporting 450 hp @ 5500 rpm and 500 lb-ft @
4200 rpm. Its a punched over .030-over 455 with a big Isky cam, TRW
pistons, Edelbrock alum heads with stamped factory casting numbers,
Harland Sharp roller rockers, cast iron manifolds and stock rocker covers.
The paint is base coat/ clear coat Dupont Viking Blue For more info on
this gorgeous car, look at the Feb 2003
Car Craft magazine or Feb 2004 Hemmings
Muscle Car magazine.
The next car is a is a 1972 442 W30
that he picked up at Carlisle Penn.. He is the fourth owner of this car.
It is unique because it is one of 19 built in 1972 of the 772 W30
produced. The original owner bought the car in Wisconsin and had it
shipped to California. 72 W30's were not smog-legal in 1972 . The car was
listed out for $3999.60 back in 72. The car was then raced from 1972 to
1980. The original owner wanted performance, so he devoided the car of all
accessories. In 1986 the car was purchased by another fella and he put the
car back to showroom-stock condition. Look for the 1972 442 W30 in October
2003 Hemmings Muscle Car magazine. kryta@aol.com

| This 1968 442 W-30 belongs to Jeff Rochowiak. The car has original interior and exterior paint. The 400 has been replaced by a .030 over 455. What is unique of this 455 is it has Edlebrock heads with a Edlebrock intake. As you see in this pic on his second run down the track, his drive shaft launched itself. His best e.t. to date is 10.88 @121.94mph and that is when he destroyed the drive shaft at Dick Millers Olds event August of 1999. Jeff is also the creator of the Street Rocket logo. He drew it and we adopted it. Thanks Jeff from the Rockets. Jeffrey.l.rochowiak@jci.com (Jeff Rochowiak) | |||||

| This 72 442 convertible belongs to John Richmond. He bought this car in 1999 and had it at the Oldsmobile Lansing Homecoming. His car is a W-30 look alike. It has all the W options you could think of for 72. It has the cut out bumper, dual gate, ralley pac, OAI hood and air cleaner, 455 with W-30 alum intake. He paid $9500.00 for this car from Livonia MI. He put a Torq Tech exhaust system from the manifolds back. The pipes are 2 1/2 inch and he is running the Dyno Max Hi-Po mufflers. Current ET is 13.75 @ 101.23 mph jwr455@yahoo.com(John Richmond).

These are Jeff
Schaefer's cars. The first car is a 1973 Hurst/Olds,
one of 1097 built that year. This car
is 100% stock, and un-restored. It is one of the rare non-air W46
optioned cars, which gave you Ka heads on the 455 and a 3.23 rear with
a Hurst duel gate shifter standard. No track times have been
established on this car either but I will make some passes with it soon, and
I would expect mid 14's. |
