Frequencies & Information

The following listing was compiled by myself for my own personal use, as well as for the scanning beginner (or anyone new to scanning in this area). This list (in hypertext format) is a compilation of a variety of sources. Some information has been compiled from sources such as local public safety officers, Amateur Radio operators, scanning special interest group members, and hard detective work. This list has compiled by one person, from all resources available. Any credit for this list goes equally to all it's contributors.

All information in this list has not been verified. Frequencies and codes change often. I've noted the date on each page so that the reader can gauge it's obsolescence. Part of the fun of scanning is discovering frequencies and figuring out codes.

I've compiled this list around a user who owns a continual coverage scanner (complete coverage from khz to ghz). Though most scanners don't fall into this high-end category, the information will help give the reader some view of the radio spectrum or rule out a users ability to use such frequencies.

This listing contains more frequencies than anyone could possibly use or keep track of. Use the frequencies your most interested in and try out some of the others. Enjoy the list, and the scanning hobby!
