Bow Hunter
Education
General Information
Dear Bowhunter Student,
Thank you for your recent inquiry about the Bowhunter education program that we
will be sponsoring this coming April 23-24, 2010.
. Classes traditionally fill 5 to 6 weeks
early. Act quickly to ensure a place in the class. Registration will be from 5 pm until 7
pm Friday evening. The sessions will begin promptly on Friday evening at 7 pm
sharp. Our course will be
completed on Saturday.
Our
host, the T. L. Storer Scout Camp, has offered us the use of several buildings
so that we can offer a resident course option as well as meals. The cost of the
course is $5.00. If you desire meals (4 meals), they will cost $20.00. If you
wish to stay overnight for the one night, it will cost $5.00. Cots with
mattresses will be provided in heated, lighted buildings. You will need to
provide your own sleeping bag or bedding. If
you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian sign the
NH Fish and Game Certification Card, Friday
night. Those students under 18 years of
age that are lodging at the camp must be accompanied by a responsible adult for
the weekend.
You
must complete the pre-registration form and return it with payment to the
address on the form. The
course is limited to a first come first serve basis. To reserve your
spot, full payment must accompany your pre-registration form. If you would
like acknowledgment of your reservation, please include an email address or
self addressed stamped envelope.
In the past we have had many requests from our students to receive their course
manuals in advance to give them extra study time. If you would like to receive
your manual about 2 weeks before the course, please enclose $3.00 to cover the
cost of mailing.
We
advise you bring a flashlight, warm jacket, proper footwear and rain
coat. Many of the
sessions will be outside, regardless of the weather.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Greg Weeden
