Hand Held Computers Show and Tell
SIR Howard Stoddard says:
"I have a Palm V synched to my desktop computer using the Palm OS V.3. I use it for
all of my appointment scheduling, address lists, to-do lists and memos (general
information). Ive used the PDA for about three years and find it just about the most
valuable computer based tool I have." Howard is going to Montana and will miss
the meeting.
SIR Bruce Saltzman says:
"Bill got your message and am responding. I am using a HP Jornada that syncs to the
Hard Drive on my pc. Works very well and has a lot of info stored on it. Will see
you at the meeting on Wed"
SIR Jack Carver says:
"I will bring my Palm. I just got it and do not use it for anything at this point. I
am not very interested in the calendar, memo, e-mail,calculator, date book, or address
book that are pre-installed.
I have looked at hundreds of applications and have others looking for apps for me also,
but have found nothing that is of interest to me so far, except the automotive scan tool
for car code retrieval by Auterra. The $220 cost has me delaying, even though that cost is
reasonable for a scan tool for 1996 and up OBII cars. You can see a great review, with
pictures of this product at

I have loaded the demo and will be glad to show it."
SIR Lee Peck (a regular visitor from another branch) says:
"I use a Visor Deluxe and do not plan to change."
