Genealogy is like seeing through a looking glass not only a glimpse of yourself but of all the ancestors before you.  

I started researching my family history in college and I've been obsessed ever since. As every good student does, I study some of the best genealogy books available, attend numerous seminars, subscribe to the scholarly genealogy journals, and belong to numerous genealogical societies. I research in various archives and libraries as well as online, cite my sources, and publish articles and transcriptions. Some of my projects include:

• Clues in the 1881 British Census Index (article for Ancestry magazine)

Need help with your family research? If you're looking for specific records or want to trace a family line, I can help. Currently, my best access is to records in Massachusetts and Scotland. However, my research has led me on a merry chase across the States, so I am not limited to these two areas.
