Our focus, our main goal, is to fulfill the great commission of making disciples. The best proven method of evangelism and discipleship is starting new congregations. We want to start, plant", new churches wherever there are lost people. As a young mission formed in 1986, we are zealous for the Lord. We are "fitting" our "feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace" for this age and the challenge of reaching youth and families. We are committed to planting indigenous churches with indigenous leaders. We plant "Day One" churches that from day one are (1) mission minded (2) focused on reaching outside their own neighborhood to plant churches and (3) self-supporting.

Evangelism

World Renewal uses many different methods to reach the lost. In addition to planting new churches, World Renewal uses sports evangelism, language camps, crusades, music teams, puppet teams, medical teams, drama teams and street evangelism.

Revival in the local church is where World Renewal began. We are committed to bringing revival to the church. We believe that God wants His church to be in a constant state of spiritual renewal and revival. Salvation, recommitment, answering God’s call, the infilling of His Spirit and much more take place with more frequency when the church is in such a state. World Renewal's leadership gives prayer, time and effort to the revival of local churches because we believe that the spiritual battle of the Kingdom is fought in the trenches of the local church as the congregation lives out their lives in the community.

"Prepare (equip) God's people for works of service (ministry)" is God's New Testament command. We believe that the best way to train leaders is to pair them up with successful church leaders/mentors "who can teach reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."

Partnerships

World Renewal’s partnerships with churches and other mission and evangelism organizations are an exciting example of the unity of the Holy Spirit. Evangelism, discipleship, renewal , leadership training and church planting can take place more efficiently using shared resources and abilities. We are grateful for our partners and look forward to working together in Christ’s Kingdom building.
