I have tried very hard to stay away and out of the war between Steve Werner and the

 

Worth Park District - but why?  He had a direct effect on my life with his broken

 

promises.  I can only hope that eventually someone will be able to give to him

 

what he has given to so many others - GRIEF.  He was obnoxiously good at telling

 

the untruths it took to get into office but what has happened beyond that?  Has he

 

accomplished anything good or for the betterment of the park district?  Not from

 

what I have heard or seen.

 

 

 Has he utilized the talent we have in town.  Obviously not.  We had to go outside of

 

town to get a Director and other staff members to run our parks.  Why?  What ever

 

happened to promoting from within and the pride that goes with that.

 

 

We were never operating at a deficit before and things ran very smooth.  What

 

happened?
