"Membership"
  Minimal Requirements

In general, for membership in the Wounded Warriors R.A. the applicant must prove initial eligibility by providing a copy of his/her DD214 and have been evaluated to have a service-connected disability of 10% or greater, and be able to provide proof. Additional requirements include, but are not limited to: having served in any branch of the Armed Forces in an active duty status for a minimum of two (2) years, unless discharged for medical reasons; National Guard and Reserve members must have served for a minimum of six (6) years or have been on active duty to meet the two (2) year requirement; time requirement will be waived for applicants who have served in any combat zone, which must be reflected on the applicants form DD214; form DD214 must demonstrate any discharge other than “Dishonorable” as a condition of release from active duty. Exceptions to this requirement will be on a "case-by-case" basis.
A signed SF-180 must be provided to the Wounded Warriors R.A. with the Membership Application to verify and receive official "undeleted" DD214 on each applicant.

Applicants for the Wounded Warriors Auxiliary are exempt from the disability requirement and may consist of non-riding, service-connected disabled vets; nonservice-connected disabled vets; non-disabled vets; and immediate family members of Wounded Warriors R.A. Members.
Applicants for the Wounded Warriors Auxiliary that wish to receive recognition as a "Veteran Member" must also meet the above requirements, with the exception of service-connected disability status.

All applicants will be expected to pass through a Trainee Member period, of 3 - 6 months. This is NOT a "Prospect Period" (we do not have "Prospects"), and is used to educate all new members on what this association is about and for; to learn how to ride as a group (pack) safely; what is or is not acceptable behavior in the general public; and what is or is not acceptable when participating in events with other associations and/or clubs. Exceptions to this requirement are on a "case-by-case" basis.

All applicants will be accepted as Active, Junior Members, provided there is not more than one (1) NO vote cast by the Post Membership.
Applicants accepted for Active Membership will affirm, or reaffirm, their oath of loyalty to the United States of America.
All Active Members (Auxiliary Members are exempt) will be required to demonstrate weapons proficiency (personal choice of handgun and long gun) at least once a year, in honor of our military history. Weapons must be "legal" and legally owned.
Any Applicant or Member found to have falsified or provided inaccurate information on his/her application or form DD214 will be immediately expelled from the Association "dishonorably".

 Motorcycles

1). All Wounded Warriors R.A. Members must own at least one (1) motorcycle that is of 650 c.c. or greater, and capable of keeping up at all times. Although not required, it is recommended that members own “American Iron” (Harley Davidson preferred), after all, we are "American Veterans"!
2). Motorcycle must meet the legal requirements of the state in which it is registered, and MUST be legally owned (NO STOLEN BIKES OR PARTS!!!).
3). Motorcycle may be stock, custom, or cruiser. (Exception: The Dedicated Chase Vehicle Driver may be excused from this rule by consensus of local Post Officers).
4). Any exceptions will be considered on a “case by case” basis at the Post level. Examples are: Veterans with disabilities that are unable to ride a 2-wheeler, and the only “reasonable” option is a foreign made or “home-built” 3-wheeler.
5). Members of the Wounded Warriors Auxiliary are exempt from the above motorcycle requirements however, if they wish to ride with the Wounded Warriors R.A., they must then follow the above requirements.
