Here you see the 3rd light conversion from 2 incandescent bulbs to an array of 60 Hi-intensity LEDs.

The above pictures show the LED matrix with and without the lens

Bulb version - 2 x 17 watts, lots of heat, yellowish light

LED version - Less than 5 watts, no heat, pure monochromatic red light
