The Braves drafted Rios as a HS senior in 2003 in the 35th round and as a JC freshman in 2004 in the 44th round. He moved up some this year. His power picked up a lot from his first year and he walked a lot more, but he hit for a much lower average. He continued to show very good plate discipline. He signed shortly after the draft and could end up at either Williamsport or Bradenton.
