2008 Juried Show

JUROR STATEMENT:

“I chose watercolors for this show which exemplified both methods of watercolor, free and loose, and the formal. The paintings showed good use of color, range of value and retained the use of the paper for the glowing light. Every piece in the show has captured a great quality of light and style- from the light and airy landscapes and city scenes, to rich floral compositions and still life, to lively nature scenes to portraiture.”

“great color and perspective.”
