Come enjoy the first day of 2009 with a scenic hike on Petticoat Hill Reservation/Locke's Loop Trail. The hillside is covered by a 100-year-old forest criss-crossed by old stonewalls and dotted with the cellar holes and foundations of early farmsteads. The land is owned by The Trustees of Reservations and the Locke's who have generously shared their private land to extend the trail loop. This hike is approximately two miles with some short sections of steep terrain. An optional longer hike will be available if conditions allow. All are welcome.

Where: Park at the Dunphy School in the center of Williamsburg. The trailhead is a short distance up Petticoat Hill road on the left.
