Hikers identify flora while enjoying the hike

Sponsered by The Trustees of Reservations, participants explored Petticoat Hill Reservation and the adjoining Locke's Loop Trail. Aimee Gelinas, a Trustees of Reservations naturalist, led the hike and explained how to identify trees by their leaves and fall colors. She also discussed the ecology of this woodland. Everybody learned something new and enjoyed this fine fall hike.
