... about me
I accepted the Mayor's invitation to this task force because I saw a really interesting and exciting opportunity in the Youth Advisory Task Force. It's so rare for the student and youth voice to really be heard in the community,
especially in politics, and to be able to talk to the mayor directly and give a forum for student issues is something I definitely wanted to be a part of.
While serving on the task force, I really hope to bring about a concrete change in the community that directly benefits the youth of West Windsor. We are looking to hold forums in both high schools to allow students to discuss what they would like to see, which would allow us to better represent the youth interest.
I've always been interested in mathematics, and through Model United Nations and Model Congress, have also really enjoyed interacting and debating with others. Combining all these interests then, I aspire to major in Finance at
UPenn's Wharton School of Business in the future. My fluency in Chinese is also
something that contributes to my interest in doing business dealings on an international level.
My mother came to America as a student in 1989, and she now works as a research scientist for Bristol Myers Squibb. My father owns a small computer company in Edison called Micro Info Tech, specializing in hardware and computer
systems.
