Shawn's 2000 Ford F150

Shawn's truck recently underwent a "Massive" transformation.

The truck was all ready pimped out on 22" rims with air ride.

It had a "Massive" system with 3-15's, 3 1000 watt amps, and a Clarion DVD player

that was installed by a shop that has since gone out of business.

The system can hit 153+ db (old mic).

Shawn enlisted me to do some upgrades to his already "Massive" system.

First, I removed his existing remote start alarm which was pretty much McGuyver'd.

I then installed a Hornet 2-way remote start/alarm system with a new window automation system.

Last but not least, I integrated the door-pops and air-ride system into the alarm.

The alarm can do the following functions:

1) Driver's door pop, 2) Passenger's door pop,

3)Air-ride (front up/rear down),

4) Air-ride (front down/rear up),

5) Air-ride (front & rear up),

6) Air-ride (front & rear down).

Next on the list of upgrades was to swap out the Massive 15's for Kicker Solobaric S15L7's.

For reasons unknown, 2 out of the 3 Massive subs were blown.

In order to do this, I had to cut the existing round woofer holes into square holes.

This was no easy task, since the existing sub box was pretty much built into the truck.

I had to use my handy jig saw, and cut out the new woofer holes while trying to balance myself inside the truck.

This was no easy task, and saw dust got everywhere.

Thank god for my handy blower/vac.

Next came the addition of 3 Stinger 8" Cross-Flow fans to keep the amps cool.

Lastly, I upgraded the Big 3 (alternator wire & battery and chassis grounds)

under the hood using Stinger 1/0 gauge HPM series wire.

I also added Stinger's Expert series Battery terminals to add more detail to the under hood area.
