Welcome to my corner of the web
My name is Cathy, and until recently, lived in the beautiful state of Tennessee. I am a transplanted Yankee, having lived all my life up until 1994 in the northeast, hence one of my AOL nicknames, YANKEETENN. I've recently moved from the Nashville area to Florida when I accepted a new position with my company. I have 3 children (2 daughters, 1 son) and 8 grandchildren...4 boys and 4 girls. I just love being a grandmother as they bring so much joy into my life. I work in permit regulatory compliance working within a large trucking company and also am a work-at-home agent doing computer work for a marketing company. Until I moved, I watched my grandchildren on my days off but due to our seperation, I can't do this but do try to spend as much time with them on long weekends and hopefully vacations and who knows, maybe they will follow me south. (I can dream can't I)..LOL. From time to time, I have a grandchild stay with me for long visits. I can think of no better way to bond with a grandchild then to spend as much time with them as possible. To be able to be there for all those *firsts*. Being a grandmother is the ultimate highlight of my life. I can't think of anything which brings me more happiness and fullfillment then my grandchildren. When I am not online playing on the computer, I enjoy country music, reading, researching my geneology and writing poetry, when the inspiration moves me. I enjoy exploring the web and by being online I have made some wonderful new and lasting friendships, meeting many in real life. I love playing around with Paint Shop Pro making websets for both my personal web pages and my message board on Ezboard.
